President Obama has invited all Senate Democrats to the White House this afternoon to discuss party unity. House Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nevada) needs all 58 Senate Democrats, along with the 2 Independents, to vote in favor of H.R.3590 (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) in order to defeat a promised filibuster from the Republicans. Senate Democrats are woefully lacking in pro-life supporters. Please continue to pray for Senator Ben Nelson (Nebraska), the only Senate Democrat who has said he will not vote for the bill unless it includes specific language to prohibit public funding of abortion. May God strengthen his resolve; may he not give in to pressure from the White House.
